As everyone is aware the climate in Tenerife is all year round sunshine and average
temperatures of 73 deg.
The tourism is therefore all year round.
This particular area is well known for Surfing and windsurfing and major championship events are held within the resort
of El Medano, annually.
The resort is laid back and is a family destination providing local facilities of bars and restaurants in the main town with a few local shops and supermarkets,
there is nothing servicing the area of Las Arenas del Mar apart from the facilities in the hotel Atlantic Playa.
There is a regular bus service that stops opposite the hotel and land for sale.
Taxis are in the main town which is 10mins walk.
