The initial construction dates back to the end of the sixteenth century although the main facade, with its obvious Neo-classical style, is due to alterations made in 1807 by Don Jos de B thencourt Castro y Molina, and the interior was extensively redesigned at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The facade encapsulates the Neo-classicism in this town because of its symmetry, the arrangement of its spaces, the curved outer wall and the carved stone that crowns the windows of the main floor.
